Value for money
CPro is $11.99 a month billed yearly, or $19.99 monthly, a bit above what notetakers usually start at. The iPhone app is a separate subscription, at $8 a week or $144 a year. And hiding the overlay from screen shares means $44.99 a month billed yearly, or $149.99 monthly.
ACore is $8 a user a month on the yearly plan, the cheap end of this category, and it's unlimited: transcription, recording, AI notes and noise cancellation, plus Slack, Notion, Zapier and an API. Pay monthly and it's $16, so the yearly plan is the one to buy.
Free plan and trial
BStarter is free, with AI responses and meeting notes capped each day and reset every 24 hours, plus custom instructions and up to 3 files. Cluely doesn't publish the caps, so we can't say how far a day gets you.
CNo free plan. You get 7 days with every premium feature, and no credit card is needed. After that, Krisp's App Store listing says recording and file import are switched off.
Features
AIt follows the conversation and can read your screen, then offers what to say next, follow-up questions or a recap on a keypress. After the call you get notes, the transcript and a drafted follow-up email. You can feed it your own instructions and files. Live transcription covers 12+ languages.
ANoise cancellation in both directions on every plan, and a note taker that records from the desktop app with no bot, or with one if you'd rather. Summaries, action items, a chat that answers from past meetings and live accent conversion. Live transcription covers 17 languages.
Ease of use
A4.7 from about 560 App Store ratings. There's no bot to invite: it sits on your own screen, and Cmd or Ctrl + Enter asks for help.
BIt works at the audio level with whatever calling app you use, so there's nothing to add to each meeting. There's no App Store rating on record to show how people get on with it, so a B.
Platforms and integrations
BMac, Windows and iPhone, working alongside Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex and Slack. But the mobile app is iPhone only, no web version is listed, Windows 10 isn't supported, and the Mac needs macOS Ventura 13 or later.
AMac, Windows, iPhone, Android and a browser extension. Core connects to Slack, Notion, Zapier, Microsoft Teams and HubSpot and includes an API. Salesforce and ConnectWise need Advanced, at $15 on the yearly plan.

Key features

Cluely

Real-time answers during a call
Cluely follows the conversation and can read the screen. Pressing Cmd or Ctrl + Enter asks for help, with shortcuts for what to say next, follow-up questions and a recap.
Meeting notes and transcripts
Records meeting audio, transcribes it and produces shareable notes and drafted follow-up emails. The full transcript can be copied from the dashboard.
No bot in the meeting
It runs as an overlay on your own computer and never joins the call, so nothing is added to the guest list. It works alongside Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex and Slack.
Hidden from screen share
On Pro + Undetectability the overlay does not appear in shared screens or meeting recordings. The standard Pro plan does not include this.
Custom instructions and files
Give Cluely your own prompts and upload reference files to shape its answers. Starter allows up to 3 files and Pro is unlimited. Cluely lists custom keybinds among its Pro features.
iPhone app
Takes meeting notes and gives live answers from a phone, with notes synced online. The app is currently for Apple devices only, and the pricing page lists a separate Mobile subscription.

Krisp

Two-way noise cancellation
Removes background noise, other voices and room echo from your microphone and from the audio you hear. It is included without a usage cap on every plan.
Bot-free note taker
Transcribes and records from the desktop app, so no bot has to join the meeting; a bot can be enabled when you prefer one. Notes include a summary, action items and next steps.
Real-time transcription
Krisp's product pages list live transcription in 17 languages. Transcription and audio recording are unlimited on Core and Advanced.
Accent conversion
Converts accents in real time on the speaker or listener side. Core allows 1 hour a day in each direction; Advanced allows 4 hours speaker-side and unlimited listener-side.
AI chat
Ask questions about past meetings and get answers from the transcripts without replaying the recording.
CRM and workflow integrations
Core connects to Slack, Notion, Zapier, Microsoft Teams and HubSpot and includes an API. Salesforce and ConnectWise need Advanced.
