How we grade them
| 3.2GPAJamieVery good | 3.6GPAVoicenotesExcellent | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | CPlus is €21 a user a month on the yearly plan (€25 monthly, or $22 in the US App Store), and it stops at 20 AI notes a month and 2 hours a meeting. Unlimited notes need Team at €33 or Pro at €39. Plans here typically start near $10, so this is the dear end. | BPro is $9 a user a month for unlimited transcription, dictation and history, which is about what notetakers start at. But the pricing page doesn't say whether that's billed monthly or yearly, and the US App Store lists subscriptions at $14.99 a month and up to $99.99 a year. |
| Free plan and trial | B10 AI notes a month, with Ask Jamie, speaker recognition and unlimited storage thrown in. But each meeting has a 30-minute limit, and if you go past it or run out of notes, the summary is locked until you upgrade. | BBasic is free with unlimited recordings and 100 transcription minutes a week. But you only see the last 30 days of notes: older ones are stored and hidden until you upgrade. Dictation, audio imports and real-time notes are Pro. |
| Features | ANo bot: it records on your Mac or Windows computer, so any meeting platform works, and the phone app covers meetings in a room. You get notes, a transcript and tasks in 99+ languages, it remembers voices, and Ask Jamie answers questions on every plan. | AHit record and nothing joins the call, so it works with any meeting app and in person. You get a summary, action items and next steps, and Ask AI answers from every recording you've made. Voice memos and dictation sit in the same app, and it copes when a speaker switches language mid-sentence. |
| Ease of use | BThere's no bot to invite, since it listens on your own computer or phone. There's no App Store rating on record to show how people get on with it, so it stops at a B. | A4.8 from about 7,100 App Store ratings. There's no bot to invite: you press record when the meeting starts, and the notes are there when it ends. |
| Platforms and integrations | AMac, Windows, iPhone and Android, and notes go to Notion, Google Docs and OneNote. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Asana, the API, webhooks and MCP need Pro or Team. No web app is listed. | AMac, Windows, iPhone, Android, the web, smartwatches and a browser extension. It connects to Zapier, Notion, Obsidian, Todoist and Readwise, with webhooks and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT. The Windows app is still labelled a beta. |
