  • A light meeting load that fits within 10 calls a month
  • Sharing notes with people who do not have an account

Tactiq

  • Following a live transcript during a meeting, not only afterward
  • Teams that prefer transcripts kept as text with no audio or video stored

Worth knowing

MinutesLink

  • The free Basic plan covers 10 calls a month; its plan card sets a 30-minute recording limit per call, while the FAQ says 60 minutes.
  • Paid plans are capped too: 30 call processings a month on Pro and 100 on Business, described as billed monthly or annually "or upon limit".
  • Microsoft Teams support is marked as coming soon, and CRM integrations are described as rolling out soon.
  • The site lists a web app and a Chrome extension; no desktop or mobile apps are mentioned.

Tactiq

  • The Free plan is limited to 10 transcripts and 5 AI credits a month.
  • Pro lifts the transcript cap but includes only 10 AI credits a month. Unlimited AI credits start on the Team plan.
  • There is no audio or video recording to play back, since Tactiq saves the transcript as text only.
  • The download page lists a Chrome extension and a beta Mac app limited to Zoom desktop calls; no Windows or mobile app is listed.

Key features

MinutesLink

Bot or extension recording
A bot joins the scheduled meetings in a connected calendar and records them. The Chrome extension records a call in one click without adding a bot to it.
Speaker-labeled transcripts
Meetings are transcribed automatically into dialogue labeled by speaker. The plan cards list transcription in more than 50 languages.
AI summaries and action items
After each meeting a recap highlights the key topics, decisions and action items and is delivered to the user's account.
Chat with meetings
An AI assistant answers questions about a past meeting using that meeting's content as context.
Editing and link sharing
Notes can be corrected and annotated, then shared as links that recipients read without signing up. Advanced sharing and commenting come with the Pro plan.
Bot for unscheduled calls
Pasting a Google Meet link into the field on the site and choosing Add a bot sends the assistant to a call that is not on the calendar.

Tactiq

Live transcription without a bot
The extension transcribes Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams in the browser as people speak, with speaker identification and support for more than 60 languages.
Text-only capture
Tactiq states that it does not record or store meeting audio. The transcript is produced in real time and saved as text, and it is shown only to the person running Tactiq.
AI summaries and action items
One AI credit covers a single AI action, such as a summary, a list of action items or one question. Free includes 5 credits a month, Pro 10, and Team and above are unlimited.
In-meeting AI and saved prompts
Ask the AI questions while the meeting is still running, and save custom questions as reusable prompts for later meetings.
Workflows
A workflow builder triggers steps automatically after a meeting and can post results to Slack, Notion, Linear, HubSpot and other tools. Workflows can be shared with a team.
Mac app (beta)
A native macOS app transcribes calls made in the Zoom desktop app. Tactiq's download page says other platforms are not supported in it yet.
