| Value for money | CIntern, the cheapest plan, is $30 a month or $270 a year, when this category typically starts near $10. It brings 3,000 Coins a month, about 25 hours of in-person meetings or 16 hours of online ones, and decks, documents and every revision come out of the same Coins. | BPro is $8.33 a month if you pay for the year, a little under what meeting notetakers usually start at. Pay monthly and it's $16.99, about double. And Pro is still metered, at 1,200 minutes a month and 90 minutes a meeting. Unlimited meetings wait for Business at $19.99. |
| Free plan and trial | CNo free plan: a workspace with no subscription and no Coins is locked until you pick a plan. Eligible accounts are offered a free trial at the Stripe checkout, but its length isn't stated, and nothing on record says whether it needs a card. | BBasic gives you 300 transcription minutes a month for nothing. But a conversation stops at 30 minutes, you get 3 file imports ever, and only your 25 most recent conversations stay open. Fine for short calls, tight for anything longer. |
| Features | AA bot records Zoom, Meet and Teams, and the browser or phone app records a room. Each meeting gets a transcript, a summary with action items and a one-page Visual Note. Then the agent drafts decks, documents, spreadsheets and research briefs from what was said. | ALive transcription with the speakers labelled, a summary of every conversation on every plan, and AI Chat for asking what was said. The notetaker joins Zoom, Teams and Meet from your calendar, or the desktop app records with no bot in the call. |
| Ease of use | BPaste a meeting link or pick an event from your calendar and the bot joins. The part to learn is Coins, since long meetings and long decks use more. There's no rating on record, so a B. | A4.8 from about 83,000 App Store ratings. Connect your calendar and the notetaker turns up to your meetings by itself. |
| Platforms and integrations | AWeb, iPhone and Android, with Google and Outlook calendars and a hosted MCP server that connects Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor to your meetings. There's a CLI too. No desktop app is listed. | AWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android and a browser extension. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack and Notion, and with Salesforce, HubSpot and Zapier from Pro. An MCP server is on every plan, though the API and webhooks are Enterprise only. |

Worth knowing
Meeting.ai
- There is no free plan: a workspace with neither a valid subscription nor usable Coins is locked until a plan is chosen.
- Usage is metered in Coins. Long meetings, long decks and detailed research use more, and each revision counts as a separate document.
- The Meeting Bot always appears in the participant list, and no desktop app is listed: it runs on the web, iOS and Android.
- Plans are published per region. The figures here are from the US catalog; visitors in other countries may be shown different Coin packs.
Otter.ai
- Basic is capped at 300 minutes a month and 30 minutes per conversation, and only the 25 most recent conversations stay accessible.
- Pro is still metered: 1,200 minutes a month and 90 minutes per meeting. Unlimited meetings start on Business.
- AI Chat queries are capped on every plan, at most 200 per user per month.
- SSO, SCIM, the API and webhooks are Enterprise only, and HIPAA compliance is an add-on.
Key features
Meeting.ai
- Meeting Bot for video calls
- Paste a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link, or pick an event from a connected calendar, and a bot joins as a visible participant. Auto-join can send it to scheduled calls.
- In-person recording and uploads
- Conversations can be recorded in the browser or the mobile app, which keeps recording in the background with lock-screen controls. Audio and video files can also be uploaded.
- Summaries and Visual Notes
- Every meeting produces a searchable transcript, an AI summary with action items and a Visual Note, a one-page infographic of what was said and decided.
- Agent that produces files
- The agent drafts decks (PPTX), documents (DOCX), spreadsheets (XLSX), PDF minutes and research briefs from what was said in meetings. Each task draws on the Coin balance.
- Questions across meeting history
- Ask a question and the answer comes from past meetings with the source meeting linked. Voice Match labels who said what across transcripts.
- MCP server and CLI
- A hosted MCP server with OAuth sign-in connects Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and other assistants to a workspace, and a CLI works from the terminal.
Otter.ai
- Meeting agent or bot-free recording
- The notetaker can auto-join Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet meetings from your calendar. The desktop app for Mac and Windows records without a bot joining the call.
- Live transcription with speaker ID
- Transcribes as people speak, labels speakers and syncs the text to audio playback. Custom vocabulary covers 5 terms on Basic and up to 800 names and 800 terms on Business.
- Automated summaries
- Each conversation gets an automated summary on every plan, so the main points are available without reading the full transcript.
- AI Chat
- Ask questions about your conversations in a chat. Monthly queries are capped per user: 20 on Basic, 50 on Pro and 200 on Business and Enterprise.
- File imports and exports
- Import audio or video files for transcription and export notes. Basic allows 3 imports in total and mp3 or txt export; paid plans add pdf, docx and srt.
- Integrations and MCP server
- Salesforce, HubSpot and Zapier integrations start on Pro. An MCP server is listed on every plan, while the Otter API and webhooks are Enterprise only.
