| Value for money | AIt isn't sold on its own. It comes inside Microsoft 365, from $5.40 per user a month paid yearly for Business Basic without Teams, or $7.00 with. That's well under what form builders charge, and business email and the Office web apps come with it. | CBasic is $28 a month billed yearly, $39 monthly, which is about the going rate. But it buys 100 responses a month and 1 user. For 1,000 responses and no Typeform branding you need Plus at $56. That's thin next to rivals that don't count responses at all. |
| Free plan and trial | BFree with a personal Microsoft account: up to 400 forms and 200 questions a form. But each form or quiz stops at 200 responses, which is tight for anything public. The Microsoft 365 trial needs a credit card and converts to a paid plan. | BThe free plan has unlimited typeforms, logic and embedding, but it collects just 10 responses a month across all your forms. That's a demo more than a plan. The only trial is 14 days of Growth Flow, and that one wants a credit card. |
| Features | BSurveys, quizzes and polls with branching questions, real-time charts and Excel export. Polls can be made inside Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint. Solid basics. For more advanced branding and analysis, Microsoft points you to Dynamics 365 Customer Voice. | ABranching, variables, scores and price calculations decide what each person sees. Paid plans add video questions and answers, Stripe payments, signatures and Calendly booking. Question drop-off rates start on Business. |
| Ease of use | BA web app with no App Store rating on record, so a B is as high as we go. You build in a browser, and sharing is a short URL or a QR code. | BA web app with no App Store rating on record, so a B is as high as we go. You can describe a form to the AI chatbot and it builds a draft. |
| Platforms and integrations | BIt runs in a browser and ties into Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint. Great if you live in Microsoft 365, not much use if you don't. There's no API on record. | BWeb only, no phone apps. It connects to Zapier, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Slack, Mailchimp, Airtable and Calendly, and Basic includes webhooks and integrations. |
