Value for money
BPro is $8.17 a month billed yearly ($97.99), about what notetakers start at, for 1,800 minutes a month and recordings up to 5 hours. Monthly billing is $13.49. Unlimited transcription, meeting video and the CRM and Zapier links need Business at $16.67 a seat.
BPro is $8.33 a month billed yearly ($99.99) for 2,400 minutes, which is plenty of minutes for ordinary money. Pay monthly and it's $19.99. Lite is $9.99 for 300 minutes and has no AI summaries. Every plan is metered, and unused minutes don't roll over.
Free plan and trial
BThere is a free plan, with 120 minutes a month, 50 file uploads and 10 AI summaries. But it only transcribes the first 3 minutes of each conversation, so it's a taster more than a plan to stay on.
CNo free plan to live on. A free account comes with 90 minutes of transcription to try the service, and that's the lot before you pay.
Features
AA bot joins Zoom, Meet, Teams and Webex, or the desktop app records with nothing in the call. Live transcription with speaker labels in 58 languages, a mode for two languages at once, summaries with action items, file and YouTube transcription, and screen recording.
AUpload audio or video, or paste a YouTube, Google Drive or Dropbox link, and export as TXT, SRT or Word. A bot joins Zoom, Meet and Teams, or the desktop app records without one. Pro adds summaries, your own templates, and AI chat that cites the moment an answer came from.
Ease of use
C4.1 from about 1,400 App Store ratings, which is low for this category. The counting doesn't help: minutes, file uploads, AI summaries and AI credits each have their own monthly quota.
A4.7 from about 1,100 App Store ratings. Upload a file or paste a link and the transcript comes back, and the desktop app spots a meeting and records it for you.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android and a Chrome extension. It connects to Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Slack, Notion, Salesforce and HubSpot. The bot-free desktop app for Mac and Windows is still labelled a beta.

Key features

Notta

Bot or bot-free meeting recording
A bot can join Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex calls. Notta Desktop, a beta app for Mac and Windows, records from the device instead, so nothing joins the call.
Live transcription in 58 languages
Transcribes speech as it happens and labels speakers. Notta lists 58 languages for transcription and translation, with a bilingual mode for two languages at once.
AI Notes
Generates a summary and action items for each recording. The monthly quota is 10 summaries on Free, 100 on Pro and 200 on Business.
Notta Brain
Answers questions across past meetings and builds slides, documents and infographics from them. It runs on AI credits: every plan includes 1,000 a month, and a paid add-on provides 8,000 a month.
File and link transcription
Upload audio or video files, or paste a YouTube link, and get a transcript. Uploads are capped at 50 a month on Free, 100 on Pro and 200 on Business.
Screen recording
Records the screen with audio and camera, and a Chrome extension captures audio from a browser tab. Recording online meetings with video needs the Business plan.

Transkriptor

File and link transcription
Upload audio or video such as MP3, MP4 and WAV, or paste a YouTube, Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox link. Transcripts export as TXT, SRT or Word.
Meeting bot or bot-free recorder
A bot can join Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls. The desktop app for Windows and Mac detects a meeting and records from the device, so no bot appears in the call.
AI summaries and templates
From Pro, each recording gets a summary, key takeaways and action items. Summary templates cover sales, marketing and education, or you can create your own format.
AI chat and Ask Transkriptor
Ask questions about a single transcript, or search every meeting in the library and get answers that cite the moment they came from. AI chat starts on the Pro plan.
Translation and speaker labels
Transcribes and translates in more than 100 languages, identifies multiple speakers, and lets you edit both the text and the speaker tags.
Call analysis
The Team plan adds speaker talk time, sentiment detection and AI filters, plus analytics that track how the team uses its minutes.
