Value for money
BPro is $10 a seat a month billed yearly, right in the middle for this category, with unlimited AI summaries and 8,000 minutes of storage per seat. Monthly billing is $18. Conversation analytics need Business at $19, and every teammate you add counts as a paid seat.
BTeam is $20 a month for 50 credits, shared across unlimited seats, and unused credits roll over. That could be cheap for a team or dear for one person. Supernormal doesn't publish how many credits a meeting or a file uses, so we can't say which, and it stays a B.
Free plan and trial
BFree forever, with unlimited transcription. But AI summaries are limited, storage stops at 400 minutes for the whole team, and you can't download transcripts or record video. Dictation with Fireflies Talk is free and unlimited, which is a nice touch.
BThere's a free plan with 15 credits a month, no more than 5 in a day, and it covers bot-free notes, generated slides and documents, and MCP access. How far 15 credits go isn't published, so we can't call it a plan you could stay on.
Features
AA notetaker that joins from your calendar, or bot-free capture from the desktop app. Transcripts in 100+ languages, summaries with action items, AskFred for questions, and a Live Assist pane during the call. Business adds analytics on your team's conversations.
AThe desktop app writes notes after each call with no bot, and records in-person meetings and voice notes too. Then agents make things from them: follow-up emails, decks, briefs, proposals, spreadsheets and images, pulling in emails and files. Projects keep each client's meetings together.
Ease of use
A4.8 from about 5,200 App Store ratings. Connect your calendar and the notetaker joins your meetings by itself.
BThe notetaker runs on your computer and the notes appear after each call. The part you can't plan for is credits, since their use isn't published. There's no rating on record, so a B.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android and a Chrome extension. It connects to Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana and dialers like Aircall, and an MCP server opens your meetings to Claude and ChatGPT.
BWeb, plus a desktop notetaker for Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 14.4.1 or later and Windows 11 or later. It connects to Gmail, Google and Outlook calendars, Google Drive and Linear, with an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. No phone app is listed.

Invite the Fireflies notetaker to a call or let it auto-join meetings on your calendar. The desktop app can instead take notes from device audio with no bot in the meeting.
Transcripts and AI summaries
Every plan includes unlimited transcription, and paid plans add unlimited AI summaries with an overview, notes and action items. Fireflies lists support for 100+ languages.
AskFred and Live Assist
AskFred is an AI assistant for questions about meeting content. In the desktop app, a floating Live Assist pane shows notes, the transcript and AskFred during the call.
Fireflies Talk dictation
Hold a key and speak to dictate text into any app from the desktop app. Fireflies says this is free and unlimited on every plan, including Free.
Conversation intelligence
Business and Enterprise add analytics on team and individual conversations. Free and Pro do not include them.
Integrations and MCP server
Connects to CRMs, project tools, applicant tracking systems and dialers such as Aircall and RingCentral. An MCP server exposes meeting data to assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.

Supernormal

Bot-free notetaker
The desktop app captures meetings through the computer and writes shareable notes after each call, with no bot in the meeting. A New capture button records in-person meetings and voice notes.
Agents for post-meeting work
After a meeting, prompt agents to produce work from what was discussed, such as follow-up emails, documents, slides and calendar invites.
Generated deliverables
Templates turn meeting notes into pitch decks, creative briefs, one-pagers, proposals and images, and can pull in emails or files for extra context.
Projects
Group meetings into projects so generated work draws on everything discussed with a client. Projects are unlimited on every plan.
MCP server
Adds Supernormal to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor so transcripts, summaries and action items are available there as context. MCP access is included on the Free plan.
Shared credits
Paid plans pool credits across any number of seats. Unused credits roll over to the next month on monthly plans and for up to two years on annual plans.
