Billing and profitability
Billable rates by workspace, member or project start on Starter. Premium adds labor costs, fixed fee projects and reports on revenue, cost and margin.
Capacity and project planning
Tasks sit on boards, lists, timelines and calendars with estimates against tracked time. Utilization and workload reports account for time off and working hours.
Toggl AI
Ask in plain language about hours logged or projects over estimate, or have it log time and create tasks. An MCP server and CLI connect Toggl to Claude, Cursor or Codex.

TrackingTime

Time is tracked with a live timer or entered by hand on web, desktop and mobile. Browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge add a timer to tools such as Asana and Jira.
AutoTrack
From the Starter plan, AutoTrack detects activity and suggests time logs. The raw data stays with the team member, who decides what is submitted.
Tasks and projects
Every plan includes tasks, subtasks, to-dos, estimates, deadlines and comments. Board, timeline and notes project views and file attachments start on Starter.
Client and shared reports
Starter adds company and project dashboards, saved and shared reports and client access to reports, with CSV and Excel export. The Free plan exports PDF only.
Rates, retainers and invoicing
Pro adds hourly and fixed project rates, task rates, historical user costs, expense tracking, project retainers with burn alerts, and invoicing.
Approvals, time cards and time off
