TrackingTime
Time tracking with projects, approvals and client reports

What is TrackingTime?
TrackingTime is a time tracker aimed at agencies and professional services firms that bill for hours. It pairs timers and timesheets with task and project management, then builds client reports, approvals, time cards, time off, retainers and invoices from the same entries. The Free plan covers unlimited users, tasks and projects, and most reporting, billing and approval features sit on the paid plans.
TrackingTime has a free plan. Paid plans start at $4.50 per user / month, billed annually ($6 billed monthly). See every plan

Key features

- Time is tracked with a live timer or entered by hand on web, desktop and mobile. Browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge add a timer to tools such as Asana and Jira.
- AutoTrack
- From the Starter plan, AutoTrack detects activity and suggests time logs. The raw data stays with the team member, who decides what is submitted.
- Tasks and projects
- Every plan includes tasks, subtasks, to-dos, estimates, deadlines and comments. Board, timeline and notes project views and file attachments start on Starter.
- Client and shared reports
- Starter adds company and project dashboards, saved and shared reports and client access to reports, with CSV and Excel export. The Free plan exports PDF only.
- Rates, retainers and invoicing
- Pro adds hourly and fixed project rates, task rates, historical user costs, expense tracking, project retainers with burn alerts, and invoicing.
- Approvals, time cards and time off
- Pro adds timesheet approval, block days, time cards, holidays and time off requests. Time off policies with accrual and carry forward need Business.
