How we grade them
| 2.0GPAFlexiQuizFair | 2.6GPAMicrosoft FormsGood | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | CGraded against its alternatives. Essentials is $17 a month billed yearly, $25 monthly, for 500 responses: less than Typeform or Jotform, more than Google Forms quizzes, which are free. Embedding and selling quizzes need Premium at $25, and the API needs Enterprise at $60. | AFree with a personal Microsoft account, and the paid version isn't sold on its own: it rides inside Microsoft 365 from $5.40 per user a month, a fifth of this category's $24 middle, with business email and the Office web apps in the same price. |
| Free plan and trial | CFree for good, with unlimited quizzes and the AI question writer, but each quiz stops at 10 questions and the account at 20 responses a month. One class sitting one test and you're there. | CFree with a personal account, and 400 forms is plenty, but each form or quiz stops at 200 responses. You'll hit that on anything public. The Microsoft 365 trial needs a credit card and converts to a paid plan. |
| Features | CIt does the quiz job fully: marking with points and grades, timers, random order, attempt limits, learner portals, live games and selling access. That's a smaller job than forms in general, though, and the listing puts embedding on Premium and the API on Enterprise. | CThe basics, and Microsoft admits where they stop: surveys, quizzes, polls with branching, real-time charts and Excel export, but its own pages send you to Dynamics 365 Customer Voice for heavier branding and analysis. Nothing here for payments, signatures or calculations. |
| Ease of use | CNo rating on record. Each quiz still has to be written and its marking and settings chosen, though the AI generator drafts one from a prompt, a web page or a file. | BNo store rating on record, but if you're on Microsoft 365 there is nothing at all to set up. Open it in a browser, build the form, share a short URL or a QR code. |
| Platforms and integrations | CWeb only, with nothing to install. Stripe is there for selling from Premium, but the API, webhooks and Zapier all wait for the $60 Enterprise plan, so on most plans it doesn't connect to much. | CWeb only, and the connections all stay inside the family: Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Copilot. No API on record, so answers don't easily reach anything that isn't Microsoft's. |
