|---|---|---|
| Value for money | BTeams is $12 per user a month billed yearly, $16 monthly. That's about the going rate for team booking tools, and a little over what a typical calendar app costs. SSO and sub-teams wait until Organizations at $28 a user. | AThere's nothing to buy. Several accounts in one view, scheduling links and Notion databases are all free. Fantastical keeps its booking links for the $4.75 a month plan. |
| Free plan and trial | AFree forever for 1 user, with unlimited event types and calendars, email and SMS notifications, Stripe and PayPal payments and 100+ app integrations. A solo user could stay here for good. | AThe whole app is free on every device, with no paid tier of its own. You do sign in with a Notion account, and Notion's free plan covers it. |
| Features | ABooking pages, round-robin, managed and collective event types, routing forms, analytics, payments, CRM sync and its own video calls in Cal Video. Then an API, embeds and workflow automation for building it into your own product. | BOn a computer you get scheduling links, time zones side by side, busy slots blocked across calendars and a shortcut for everything. But there's no travel time, and the phone app does far less. |
| Ease of use | BWe have no App Store rating on record, so a B is the ceiling here. The hosted version is sign up and share a link. Self-hosting Cal.diy is another story, and Cal.com recommends it for personal, non-production use only. | B4.7 from about 7,600 App Store ratings, and reviewers like how calm it looks. But iCloud needs an app-specific password from Apple, and this year's reviews mention events vanishing on the phone. |
| Platforms and integrations | AWeb, Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, Android and a browser extension. It connects Google Calendar, Outlook, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot and Stripe, and has an API. | BWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, reading Google, iCloud and Outlook calendars. But there's no Linux app, Outlook calendars aren't on the phone apps yet, and the only API is a link that opens an event. |
| Best for | a booking page that's free for one person | seeing Notion deadlines next to your meetings |

Worth knowing
Cal.com

- Cal.com announced in April 2026 that its production code was going closed source. The open-source edition is now Cal.diy, without Teams, Organizations, Workflows or SSO.
- Cal.com recommends Cal.diy for personal, non-production use only; self-hosting the commercial product requires an enterprise license from sales.
- SAML SSO, SCIM and sub-teams start on the Organizations plan at $28 per user / month, billed yearly.
Notion Calendar
- The mobile apps show only 1 to 3 day views and cannot search events, edit most events or create Focus and out-of-office events.
- Notion's help center says mobile support for Microsoft Outlook calendars is still coming.
- Focus time and out-of-office events need a Google Workspace account, and travel time is not supported.
- Only one Notion account can be linked to a Notion Calendar account, and no Linux desktop app is listed.
