Best for team booking on a small budget, more so with Zoho CRM

Zoho Bookings gives you a lot of scheduling for not much money. Round robin, email workflows and reports come on the $6 plan, where most rivals save them for dearer tiers. If you already use Zoho CRM it slots straight in. The catch is that taking payments, group bookings and text reminders all wait on Premium.

Who Zoho Bookings is for

  • Great if your team already runs on Zoho CRM, Bigin or Zoho One
  • Handy when you're solo and want a free booking page with two-way calendar sync
  • Good for businesses with several branches or departments taking bookings

Who Zoho Bookings is not for

  • Skip it if you want payments on the cheapest plan, as charging at booking needs Premium at $9 a user
  • Tight if you're staying free and there's more than one of you, as Free is one user only
  • Pricey if you book out lots of rooms or equipment, since bookable resources are paid add-ons

Why Zoho Bookings gets a 3.6

Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.

  • AValue for moneyBasic is $6 a user a month billed annually, $8 monthly, and it already has round robin, collective bookings, email workflows, reports and Zoho CRM sync. Premium at $9 adds payments, routing forms and a custom domain. That's cheap for what you get.
  • BFree plan and trialThe Forever Free plan covers one user, with online meetings, notification emails and reminders, and two-way sync with Zoho, Google and Microsoft calendars. Decent for a soloist. One user is the hard limit, and the listing can't say what else is capped.
  • AFeaturesOne-on-one, collective, group and resource bookings, workspaces for branches or departments, round robin with four methods, routing forms, and workflows you can script yourself. Zia, Zoho's AI, can build a booking page from your web address. That's the job, in depth.
  • BEase of useZia can set the account up for you, which takes the edge off a product with this many options. We have no App Store rating on record to show how people get on with it, so it stops at a B.
  • APlatforms and integrationsWeb, iPhone and Android apps and a browser extension. It syncs with Google and Microsoft 365 calendars, works with Zoom, Teams, Stripe, PayPal, Zoho CRM and Zapier, and has an MCP server so outside AI assistants can manage appointments.

What is Zoho Bookings?

Zoho Bookings is appointment scheduling software in which customers pick a slot on a booking page and the meeting lands on the host's synced calendar. Teams organize event types into workspaces for branches or departments, assign bookings by round robin and automate follow-up with workflows. A free plan covers one user, the paid plans are priced per user, and Zoho One subscribers get the Premium plan as part of that suite.
