SavvyCal
Scheduling links where invitees can overlay their own calendar
SavvyCal report card
Very good · out of 4.0 · graded Oct 9, 2026
Best for booking links that are kind to the person booking
Ever been sent a booking link and had to flip back to your own calendar to check each slot? SavvyCal fixes that: the person booking can lay their calendar over yours and see both in one week view. It's a thoughtful, complete scheduling tool. But there's no free plan, so a link only goes live once you pay.
Who SavvyCal is for
- Great if you want the people booking you to compare calendars before they pick a time
- Handy when a small team needs round-robin or collective links
- Good for getting a group to vote on a time, since meeting polls are free
Who SavvyCal is not for
- Skip it if you want a free booking link, because you have to upgrade to activate one
- Pricey if you charge for bookings, as that needs Premium at $17 a user a month
- Not for you if you want to manage bookings in a phone app, since none is listed
Why SavvyCal gets a 3.0
Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.
- BValue for moneyBasic is $10 a user a month billed annually, $12 monthly, with unlimited calendars, links and team scheduling. About typical for booking tools. Paid bookings, custom domains and handing your account to an assistant need Premium at $17.
- CFree plan and trialNo free plan. You can sign up and look around with no credit card, but you have to upgrade to activate. Meeting polls are the exception: those are free. The 30-day money-back guarantee is a safety net, not a trial.
- AFeaturesCalendar overlay for invitees, collective, round-robin and group links, meeting polls, buffers, frequency limits and preferred slots, workflows, and paid bookings through Stripe on Premium. There's a REST API, webhooks and embeds as well. Nothing obvious is missing.
- BEase of useIt runs in the browser, and the overlay is there to make booking less work for the other person too. We have no App Store rating on record to show how people get on with it, so it stops at a B.
- BPlatforms and integrationsA web app with a Chrome extension, and no mobile app listed. It connects to Google, Outlook, iCloud and Fastmail calendars, Zoom, Stripe, HubSpot and Zapier, with an API for the rest.
