Value for money
BStandard is $10 a seat a month billed yearly, the same starting price as SavvyCal and Reclaim, where Cal.com asks $12. Round-robin and Salesforce sync need Teams at $16, and Notetaker needs a Plus plan, with Teams Plus at $24.
AIndividual Lifetime is $29, paid once on AppSumo. That's a few months of a typical booking subscription, and it adds automatic Zoom, Meet and Teams links, group bookings, API access and 10 calendar connections. Pro is $8.25 a month billed annually if you want no branding.
Free plan and trial
BFree forever, with unlimited meetings. But it's one event type, one calendar connection and one-on-one meetings only. Enough for a single booking link. New users get two weeks of Teams Plus first, then drop to Free.
AFree forever, with unlimited bookings and booking types, paid bookings through Stripe and PayPal, recurring and package bookings and date polls. Most solo people could stay. It connects 1 calendar and won't make Zoom, Meet or Teams links for you.
Features
ABooking pages, group and round-robin events, lead routing, automated reminders, and Stripe or PayPal payments at booking. Notetaker records and recaps Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls. There's a REST API with webhooks too.
APaid bookings with discount codes, recurring appointments, session packages and subscriptions, round robin and collective meetings on Agency and Pro, plus Zapier, an API and an AI booking assistant. That's the whole booking job, in depth. SMS reminders are US and Canada only.
Ease of use
A4.8 from about 55,000 App Store ratings. Set up an event type, share the link, and the invitee picks a time. They don't need an account or a seat to book.
BMake a booking type, connect a calendar, share the page. It runs in a browser, so there's nothing to install. There's no rating on record to show how people get on with it, so it stops at a B.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, iPhone and Android, extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and add-ins for Outlook, Gmail and LinkedIn. It syncs with Salesforce and HubSpot and has a REST API.
BA web app only: there's no iPhone or Android app. It connects to Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Apple Calendar, Zoom, Teams, Stripe, PayPal and Zapier, and paid plans get the API. A web app with integrations is a B.

Who each one suits

Calendly

  • Sales, recruiting and customer teams that book many external meetings
  • Individuals who need one free booking link
  • Teams that need round-robin assignment and lead routing

TidyCal

  • Solo coaches, consultants and tutors who would rather pay once than monthly
  • Selling paid sessions, packages and subscriptions from a booking page
  • Small teams that want round robin on a flat-priced plan

Worth knowing

Calendly

  • The Free plan allows one event type and one calendar connection, for one-on-one meetings only.
  • Round-robin scheduling, lead routing and Salesforce sync need Teams; SSO is an add-on on Teams and built into Enterprise.
  • Notetaker and Callie are not in base Standard or Teams. They need a Plus plan (Teams Plus is $24 per seat / month, billed yearly) and are English-only.
  • Enterprise starts at $15k per year and 50 seats and is billed in USD only.

TidyCal

  • The Free plan connects 1 calendar and cannot auto-create Zoom, Google Meet or Teams links; those need a paid plan.
  • Free and lifetime plans pay TidyCal a 1% platform fee on Stripe payments, on top of Stripe's own fees. Only Pro has none.
  • Lifetime plans are bought through AppSumo, and Agency Lifetime licenses bought from September 1, 2026 are capped at 4 team seats.
  • There is no iOS or Android app; TidyCal runs in a browser. The Pro subscription has no free trial.
