|---|---|---|
| Value for money | AThe Annual Membership is $19.99, well under the $3.99 a month a typical to-do app charges, and it covers every device. Monthly is $3.99, so the yearly plan is the one to pick. The Bonobo Bundle adds the Timepage calendar and the Flow notebook for $29.99 a year. | BPremium is $4.99 a month billed annually, about the going rate for a paid to-do app. Teams costs the same per member and Family is $8.33 a month for 4 people. Pay month by month and Premium jumps to $7.99. |
| Free plan and trial | CNo free plan. You get a 7-day trial with every feature and no credit card. After that the app stays in read-only mode until you buy a membership. | BThe Personal plan is free for good, with tasks, lists, reminders, the calendar, the daily planner and sync. But recurring tasks, colour tags and location reminders are left out, and a to-do list without repeats gets tight fast. |
| Features | BCards with checklists, notes, deadlines and reminders, colour-coded lists, a Schedule you rearrange by dragging, a Logbook of what's done, and lists shared by invitation link. Solid. But typing "Pay rent on the 1st of every month" only works in English, and only on iOS and the web. | ATasks and calendar events side by side, a planner that asks what you'll get done today, and tasks made inside WhatsApp. Families get a grocery list grouped by aisle. Teams get boards with kanban, table and Gantt views, automations and 100+ templates. |
| Ease of use | A4.6 from about 9,800 App Store ratings. Siri adds and checks off tasks by voice, and moving a card to another day is a drag across the Schedule. | A4.6 from about 50,500 App Store ratings. The personal app is lists, reminders and a calendar in one place, kept in step between phone, desktop and web. |
| Platforms and integrations | BiPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, plus a web app, with Siri, Shortcuts and Bonobo's Timepage calendar. No Android or Windows app is listed, and memberships are bought through Apple's App Store with an Apple ID. | AWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android and a browser extension. It connects to WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Gmail, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Zapier. No Linux app is listed. |
| Best for | a card-based to-do list on Apple devices | tasks, calendar and WhatsApp reminders in one app |

Key features
Actions
- Action Cards
- Each task is a card with a title, due date and reminders, and a card can hold its own checklist and free-form notes.
- Color-coded Lists
- Cards are grouped into Lists, each with its own color, which can be sorted, filtered and archived. Cards keep their list's color in the other screens.
- Schedule and Logbook
- Schedule shows today and the coming week, and cards are rescheduled by dragging. Completed cards move to the Logbook, where they can be reviewed or restored.
- Natural-language entry
- Typing a phrase such as "Pay rent on the 1st of every month" sets the date, repeat rule and reminder. It works on iOS and the web, in English only.
- Shared lists
- A list is shared by sending an invitation link to other Actions users. Collaborators' initials show on the list, and change notifications can be switched off per list.
- Siri, Shortcuts and Timepage
- Tasks can be added and checked by voice with Siri and automated with Shortcuts actions. With Timepage installed, calendar events appear in the Schedule screen.
Any.do
- Tasks, lists and reminders
- Personal to-do lists with reminders are free. Recurring tasks, location reminders and color tags are listed under Premium.

- Tasks can be created and reminders received inside WhatsApp. WhatsApp reminders are a Premium feature.
- Family space
- The Family plan gives up to 4 members a shared space for family projects, task assignment and a grocery list that groups items by aisle.

- The Teams workspace has project boards with kanban, calendar, table and Gantt views, custom fields and time tracking.
