Best for a phone to-do list with alarms and widgets
Todoery is a phone to-do list with alarm reminders, a calendar view and widgets you can tick tasks off from. Most of it is free with adverts, and PRO is cheap if you want fancier repeats and more themes. It's phones only, though. And in August 2025 the developer said sync between iPhone and Android was still being worked on.
Who Todoery is for
- Great if you want a simple phone to-do list with proper alarm reminders
- A treat if you like colour themes and home screen widgets
- Good for Android users who back their lists up to Google Drive
Who Todoery is not for
- Not for you if you want your tasks on a computer, as no web or desktop version is listed
- Tight if you move between iPhone and Android, since sync between the two was still in the works in August 2025
- Skip it if adverts bug you, as the free version carries them
Why Todoery gets a 3.4
Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.
- AValue for moneyMonthly PRO is $1.99 or $2.99 and Annual PRO runs from $17.99 to $29.99, all under what paid to-do apps typically start at. Permanent PRO is $34.99 or $43.99 once. The odd part: the US App Store lists several prices for the same purchase, so what you're offered in the app can vary.
- AFree plan and trialLists, categories, subtasks, alarm reminders, the calendar view and widgets are all free, with adverts. Most people could stay here. PRO keeps back advanced repeat settings, some themes and custom ringtones.
- BFeaturesCategories, priorities, subtasks, alarms, repeating tasks, a calendar view and AI-assisted task creation. Solid for a phone list. But Google Drive sync is an Android thing, and in an August 2025 App Store reply the developer said syncing between iOS and Android was still being worked on.
- AEase of use4.6 from about 5,700 App Store ratings. You can add a task or mark one done from the home screen widget, so half the time you needn't open the app at all.
- CPlatforms and integrationsAndroid and iOS only, with Wear OS watches on the Android side, Google Drive for backup and Siri on iPhone. The vendor's page offers downloads from Google Play and the App Store, and no web or desktop version.
