Best for GTD on a Mac, with AI you can check first

AgenToDo is a full Getting Things Done manager for the Mac, and the whole thing is free unless you want the AI. That AI is a command bar: tell it "move everything from today to Friday" and it shows you each change before it makes any. It's Mac only though, and a very new Mac at that. And the AI runs on Setapp credits, so that part needs a Setapp subscription.

Who AgenToDo is for

  • Great if you follow Getting Things Done on a Mac and want the weekly review built in
  • Handy when you'd rather type one sentence than click through ten tasks
  • A treat if you're coming from OmniFocus, since it borrows the same keyboard habits

Who AgenToDo is not for

  • Skip it if you want your tasks on your phone, because there's no iPhone or Android app listed
  • Not for you if your Mac is Intel or older than macOS 26, as it won't run
