|---|---|---|
| Value for money | BPremium is $4.99 a month billed annually, about the going rate for a paid to-do app. Teams costs the same per member and Family is $8.33 a month for 4 people. Pay month by month and Premium jumps to $7.99. | CPremium Family is $5.99 a month, or $49.99 a year, above what paid to-do apps typically start at. And it buys extras: widgets, pinned tasks, pre-reminders and Premium themes. The web version needs the Pro Plan at $9.49 a month or $94.99 a year. Dear for what you get. |
| Free plan and trial | BThe Personal plan is free for good, with tasks, lists, reminders, the calendar, the daily planner and sync. But recurring tasks, colour tags and location reminders are left out, and a to-do list without repeats gets tight fast. | AThe part that matters is free: shared lists that sync in real time, category tabs, notifications and reminders. Most couples and families could stay here. The trade is ads, which both store listings flag. |
| Features | ATasks and calendar events side by side, a planner that asks what you'll get done today, and tasks made inside WhatsApp. Families get a grocery list grouped by aisle. Teams get boards with kanban, table and Gantt views, automations and 100+ templates. | BLists update for everyone the moment an item is added or ticked, members get notified, and due dates can repeat. Tabs like Groceries and Home can be private or shared. Solid for sharing. But widgets are Premium, the web board is Pro, and no integrations are listed. |
| Ease of use | A4.6 from about 50,500 App Store ratings. The personal app is lists, reminders and a calendar in one place, kept in step between phone, desktop and web. | BSomeone joins by scanning a QR code or opening a link, and the site says the invited person doesn't need to sign up. That's about as painless as sharing gets. There's no rating on record to go by, so it stops at a B. |
| Platforms and integrations | AWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android and a browser extension. It connects to WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Gmail, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Zapier. No Linux app is listed. | BiPhone and Android, plus a web version if you pay for Pro. The App Store marks it as only for iPhone, so there's no native iPad, Mac or Windows app, and it lists no integrations. |
| Best for | tasks, calendar and WhatsApp reminders in one app | a shared list for couples and families |
