Worth knowing
FacileThings
- There is no free plan. After the 30-day trial a subscription is needed, from $7 a month on the yearly term to $12 month to month.
- No desktop app is listed. On a computer it runs in a browser with an internet connection; the apps are for iPhone and Android.
- Prices carry an asterisk with no footnote shown on the page; the terms say related taxes are added to fees.
Nozbe
- The free space is capped at 3 users, 3 active projects, 3 tags, 500MB of storage and 7 days of completed-task history.
- Each Premium space needs its own subscription; only the Business plan bills several spaces together.
- Business cannot be bought through Apple or Google in-app payments, and in-app subscriptions lack the mid-term seat changes of online billing.
- The download page offers Mac and Windows desktop apps and links to iOS and Android apps; no Linux download is listed.
Key features
FacileThings
- GTD workflow built into the app
- The capture, clarify, organize, reflect and engage stages of GTD are embedded in the system, with contextual help and a tutorial for people new to the method.
- Purpose, goals and areas of focus
- Daily tasks can be aligned with the purpose, goals and areas of focus you define for your personal and professional life.
- Guided reviews and planning
- Guided tools cover the Weekly Review and the Mind Sweep, and Project Natural Planning is described as AI-assisted.
- Google and Outlook calendars together
- All of your Google and Outlook calendars, personal and professional, can be brought into a single place inside the app.
- Delegation and agendas
- Tasks can be delegated to collaborators, and agendas keep the items to raise with each person ready for your next meeting.
- Reference storage and statistics
- Each account has 5GB for reference files and can connect to email, Evernote, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox and Box. Statistics track your activity over time.
Nozbe
- Projects, tasks and comments
- Work is split into projects that hold tasks, and discussion happens in the comments on each task, where files and documents can be attached.
- Priority, Incoming and Activity views
- Priority is a list you fill yourself. Incoming gathers today's and overdue tasks, reminders, assignments and mentions. Activity shows changes in the projects you follow.
- Calendar and time tracking
- Tasks take deadlines and reminders and can be scheduled in a Calendar view. Recording the time needed and time spent on a task requires Premium.
- Nozbe AI
- Describing a project in a prompt, or importing a CSV file, creates a project with sections, tasks and comments. Free spaces get 3 requests; Premium gets up to 1,000.
- Multiple spaces
- One account can own or join several spaces, for example for work and private life. Each Premium space is billed on its own; Business covers unlimited spaces.
- Integrations and API
- Integrations with Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Dropbox, OneDrive, Evernote and Zapier are open to every plan, and there is a REST API.
