Key features

TaskFire

Lists, checklists and task details
Every task belongs to a list and can carry notes, comments, tags, a priority, and start and due dates. Lists can be reordered and separated with spacers.
Smart Lists
Saved filters gather tasks across lists by due date, star, tag or assignee. Accounts start with standard ones such as Important and Next seven days, which can be customized.
Reminders and location alerts
A Basic account allows one reminder per task. Premium allows up to 10 follow-up reminders, plus alerts triggered on arriving at or leaving a location.
Task parsing, email and Siri
Characters typed in a task name set its dates, priority, tags and list. Creating tasks by email or by voice with Siri is listed under Premium.
Shared lists and assignments
Lists can be shared so that tasks are assigned to people and discussed in comments, with email notifications when a shared list changes.
Team administration
The Teams plan adds a dashboard for managing members, licenses, sharing permissions and invoices under one bill, for teams of 2 to 99 people.

Todoist

Quick Add
Capture tasks in natural language as they come to you, including recurring due dates and reminders.
List, board and calendar layouts
Switch any project between a list, a kanban board and a calendar. The calendar layout needs a paid plan.
Filters, labels and priorities
Saved filter views pull tasks from across projects: 3 on the free plan, 150 on Pro and Business.
Shared projects
Share a project to assign tasks and comment on them. Personal projects allow up to 5 people on every plan.
Team workspace
Business adds public and private team projects, folders, roles and permissions, and shared templates.
Ramble and Task Assist
Ramble turns spoken thoughts into tasks; free accounts get limited sessions. Task Assist is included from Pro.
