Value for money
BGQueues for YOU is $3 a month billed yearly, or $3.75 monthly. The typical to-do app starts around $3.99, so that's about normal. BUSINESS is $4 a user billed yearly, which is cheap for a team plan.
AFive dollars a month if you pay for the year, eight for teams. Hard to find anything this good on this many devices for that.
Free plan and trial
BLite is free and never expires, but it's bare: no Google integrations, no reminders, no search and no mobile apps. Signing up does get you 14 days of BUSINESS with no card.
BFree forever, and reminders are included now. But 5 projects is tight. Work, home, one side thing and you're done.
Features
AUnlimited subtasks, tags, repeats, snoozing and Smart Queues that filter for you. Lists flip into boards, tasks get assigned and commented on, and Google Calendar updates both ways in real time.
BTyping tasks in and repeating dates are brilliant. Filters are great if you like that sort of thing. No start dates though, and the calendar view is paid.
Ease of use
A4.7 from about 520 App Store ratings. You sign in with the Google Account you already have. No new password, and your calendar is right there.
A4.8 from around 129,000 App Store ratings. Open it, type a thing, done. Nobody needs a tutorial for this.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, iPhone, Android and a Chrome extension, plus add-ons for Gmail and Drive and an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. No desktop app, and the public API is still in beta.
AMac, Windows, Linux (yes, really), iPhone, Android, web, watch and browser. There's an API too if you like wiring things together.

Key features

GQueues

Queues, subtasks and Smart Queues
Tasks sit in lists called queues with unlimited subtasks, tags, notes, repeats and snoozing. Smart Queues filter for tasks that meet criteria you set.
Two-way Google Calendar sync
Changes made to tasks in Google Calendar or in GQueues update in both places in real time, and projects can sync to separate calendars you switch on and off.
Gmail, Drive and Chrome capture
A Google Workspace add-on turns emails into tasks, Drive files attach with permissions handled for collaborators, and a Chrome extension captures tasks as you browse.
List and board views
Any queue can be shown as a list or as a kanban-style board, with columns organized by status, assignee, date, priority or something else.
Sharing, assignments and Teams
Queues can be shared or published, tasks assigned and commented on, and changes tracked in an activity record. Teams add shared workspaces on the BUSINESS plan.
MCP for AI assistants
An MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT or Google Gemini list, search, add, change and complete tasks in your account after a sign-in you approve.

Todoist

Quick Add
Capture tasks in natural language as they come to you, including recurring due dates and reminders.
List, board and calendar layouts
Switch any project between a list, a kanban board and a calendar. The calendar layout needs a paid plan.
Filters, labels and priorities
Saved filter views pull tasks from across projects: 3 on the free plan, 150 on Pro and Business.
Shared projects
Share a project to assign tasks and comment on them. Personal projects allow up to 5 people on every plan.
Team workspace
Business adds public and private team projects, folders, roles and permissions, and shared templates.
Ramble and Task Assist
Ramble turns spoken thoughts into tasks; free accounts get limited sessions. Task Assist is included from Pro.
