Value for money
BStarter is $335 a year, or $35 monthly, for the whole account with three extra team members included. That's close to what HoneyBook charges. But the scheduler, automations and the QuickBooks, Xero and Zapier links wait for Premier at $525 a year, or $55 monthly.
AOne plan, $15 a user a month, with every feature, unlimited contacts and pipelines and 25 GB of storage each. Paid CRMs here start at about $24 in the middle, and most hold things back for dearer tiers. No discount for paying yearly, mind.
Free plan and trial
CNo free plan. You do get a 21-day trial with full access to Premier and no card, which is longer than most. After that it's $335 a year or $35 a month.
CNo free plan. The trial is 30 days with no feature limits and no credit card, which is about as fair as trials get. After that it's $15 a user.
Features
AProposals that carry the contract and the invoice, e-signatures, payment plans with autopay, lead capture forms, branded client portals, a scheduler and multi-step automations called Flows. For a service business that's the whole job. Starter gets 1 active lead form and no Flows.
BContact pages with notes, files and logged emails, unlimited pipelines, follow-up tasks, a morning agenda email, forms and reports. Solid basics, kept simple on purpose. The vendor suggests staying under about 50,000 contacts and companies, so it isn't built for huge databases.
Ease of use
A4.83 from about 570 App Store ratings, an easy A. Both plans come with form and email templates, so you aren't writing every contract from a blank page.
BThere's no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is our ceiling. One plan means there's nothing to compare, and phone and email support is free if you get stuck.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, iPhone and Android. Payments run through Stripe, PayPal or Square, and it works with Gmail and Google Calendar. QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zapier are there too, but only on Premier.
BIt runs in a browser on any device, with no downloads, and no native apps are listed. It syncs with Google and Outlook calendars, logs email from Google, Microsoft or IMAP, and connects to Mailchimp and Zapier. There's an API too.
