3.8GPA

Excellent · out of 4.0 · graded Oct 9, 2026

Best for small firms wanting sales and support in one CRM

Vtiger puts sales, marketing, help desk, projects and inventory in one system, so the person who sold the job and the person fixing it see the same customer page. Ten people can use it free, and paid plans start at $12 a user. The thing to watch is the ceilings. Free stops at 3,000 records, and One Growth stops at 15 users, after which it's $30 a head.

Who Vtiger is for

  • Great if you're a team of up to 10 and want a free CRM that isn't a toy
  • Handy when sales, support and invoicing should all hang off the same customer record
  • Good for developers who want an open-source CRM to host and change themselves

Who Vtiger is not for

  • Tight if your contact list is big, because the free plan stops at 3,000 records
  • Pricey if you grow past 15 users, as One Growth stops there and One Professional is $30 a user
  • Not for you if you just want a simple pipeline, since this is five apps in one

Why Vtiger gets a 3.8

Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.

  • AValue for moneyOne Growth is $12 a user a month on yearly billing, half the $24 or so that's typical, with multiple pipelines, a customer portal, invoicing and 100,000 records. It stops at 15 users, though. Past that it's One Professional at $30, and the AI is a $12 add-on.
  • AFree plan and trialOne Pilot is free for up to 10 users and 3,000 records, with a deal pipeline, 1,000 campaign emails a month, help desk basics, 3 GB of storage and the phone app. A small team could stay here a good while. It's one pipeline, mind.
  • AFeaturesOne customer page with the full history, a kanban deal pipeline, email campaigns with web forms and landing pages, a help desk with SLAs, invoices, sales orders and projects with Gantt views. That's the CRM job and the departments either side of it. Forecasting and lead scoring need One Professional.
  • BEase of useThere's no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is our ceiling. The cloud plans run in a browser with nothing to install, and each customer's history sits on one page. It's five apps in one, though, so there's a fair bit to find your way round.
  • APlatforms and integrationsWeb, iPhone and Android, with the phone app on the free plan too. It connects to Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook and Teams, WhatsApp, Mailchimp, QuickBooks, DocuSign and Zapier. There's also an open-source edition you can host yourself.
