Value for money
CTeam is $20 a seat a month billed annually, or $24 monthly. That's about double the dear end of this category, where plans start around $10. Two-way sync and the admin panel wait on Business, at $45 a seat.
CTeam is $10 a user a month billed annually, the top of what's typical here, and it only fits 2 to 15 users. Request forms, time tracking and proofing wait on Business at $25. Seats are sold in fives up to 30 seats, too.
Free plan and trial
BFree for up to 5 editors, with 500 AI credits each a month. But it's 1,000 records and 1 GB of attachments per base, with 2 weeks of revision history. Fine for a small tracker, tight for one that grows. No timeline or Gantt view either.
AFree for unlimited users, with project and task management, board and table views and the web, desktop and mobile apps. A team that only needs a board could stay. Storage is 2 GB for the whole account, and Gantt charts start on Team.
Features
ALinked tables you can see as a grid, form, calendar, gallery, kanban, timeline, list or Gantt. Then custom interfaces, automations, portals for outside guests, and Omni, which builds an app from a plain description. Deep, and yours to shape.
AAn interactive Gantt chart with dependencies and milestones, boards, tables and calendars, dashboards, rule-based automation, request forms, and proofing with approval chains. Budgeting and capacity planning come on the quoted plans.
Ease of use
A4.8 from about 25,000 App Store ratings. Worth knowing you're building your own tracker here, not opening a ready-made one, so there's some design work before there's anything to tick off.
A4.6 from about 6,900 App Store ratings. On the Gantt chart you drag a task to move its dates. Picking a plan takes more thought, with five of them and the AI split into Essentials and Elite.
Platforms and integrations

Key features

Airtable

Relational bases
Data lives in bases of linked tables. Record limits per base rise from 1,000 on Free to 50,000 on Team and 125,000 on Business.
Eight view types
A table can be shown as a grid, form, calendar, gallery, kanban, timeline, list or Gantt view. Timeline and Gantt views need the Team plan.
Interfaces
Custom interfaces can be built from base data, giving each team a tailored app on top of the same records.
Automations and sync
Automations handle repetitive steps inside a base. Two-way sync with outside tools is included from the Business plan.
Omni and field agents
Omni builds apps from a plain-language description and field agents run AI across records. Both draw on monthly AI credits: 500 per editor on Free and 15,000 per seat on Team.
Portals
Portals let guest users from outside the organization collaborate on selected data.

Wrike

Gantt charts and boards
An interactive timeline shows dependencies and milestones and lets tasks be dragged to new dates. Board and table views are on every plan; Gantt charts start on Team.
Request forms
Request forms gather incoming work from internal and external requesters into one place. Included from the Business plan.
Proofing and approvals
Reviewers mark up and compare visual assets, with approval chains for internal and external reviewers. Included from the Business plan.
Automation
Rule-based automation with a monthly action allowance per seat: 50 on Team, 200 on Business, 1,500 on Pinnacle and 3,000 on Apex.
Dashboards and reporting
Customizable dashboards built from widgets start on the Team plan. Advanced reporting and BI are reserved for Pinnacle and Apex.
AI Essentials and AI Elite
AI Essentials on Team covers content drafting, comment summaries and automation rules written in plain language. Business and above add AI Elite actions, Wrike Copilot and AI agents.
