  • The workload view, absences and automations start at Standard, and private projects need Professional.
  • Single sign-on and SCIM are limited to the Enterprise plans.
  • awork AI is a separate subscription from $18 per user / month, and every active user in the workspace needs at least the Starter tier.

Key features

awork

Boards, lists and timelines
Project tasks can be worked on a kanban board, in a classic list or on a visual timeline that shows timings and dependencies.
Capacity planning
The planner shows free hours per person from working hours, absences, regional public holidays and synced calendars. The workload view starts at Standard.
Time tracking and reports
Time is tracked inside the project workflow and compared with budgets, including retainer budgets. Global time reports are part of Professional.
awork Connect
Projects can be shared with clients, partners and freelancers at no charge. Each outside person gets a free workspace and a role that limits what they can see and do.
Automations and templates
Recurring workflows are set up without code: 1 automation per project on Standard and unlimited on Professional. Templates rise from 1 on Basic to 6 on Standard.
awork AI
A separate add-on with an AI chat, custom agents and a choice of language models that works from project context and respects access rights.

Float

Resource scheduling
People are scheduled onto projects in hours or percentages. Placeholders add planned hires, contractors or shared equipment without using a seat: 1 on Starter, 5 on Pro.
Capacity and time off
Custom workdays and hours, global holiday calendars, departments, roles, skills and tags feed each person's capacity. Time off management is on every plan.
Project planning and budgets
Projects have phases, milestones, tasks, templates and budget tracking on every plan. Project cost estimates and expenses are Pro features.
Time tracking
The Pro plan adds timesheets that are prefilled from the schedule or logged automatically, and time entries that can be locked.
Reporting and forecasting
Utilization trends, billable versus non-billable hours, budget burn and margin tracking are on every plan. Finance and people dashboards and estimates versus actuals need Pro.
Integrations and API
Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Slack, Zapier and custom API integrations are included on every plan. A Float MCP connector for Claude is in beta.
